English Hanging Tavern Clock

For your consideration today we have the following.

An England, hanging tavern clock in a mahogany and mahogany veneered case.

The clock has a painted metal dial, spade hands, 8 day, time and strike weight driven brass movement.

The case in overall good condition for age and in an old finish has some small dings and scratches on the trunk.

The bonnet has some old dings and scratches on the curved base molding.

The original painted dial has some small loss at the winding arbors. The clock has the original hands.

19in x 62.5in x 8in approximately.

Circa: ~1875

Clock functions with short term test one hour, not tested long term.

Good glass , pendulum, rod , bob, cast iron weights.

Good suspension spring.

With seconds bit.
